Tired of waiting – here’s a simple guide on how to buy Oktoberfest tickets in three easy steps. How to buy Oktoberfest Kitchener tickets

To buy Oktoberfest tickets, first you’ll need to go to the website for this event. Once there, you can use filters on the left-hand side of the screen that allow you to search for tickets based on the type of ticket, including single day and weekend passes, VIP packages, and more. Oktoberfest Kitchener tickets go on sale to the general public on July 29th. Traditionally, they go for $3/ticket, but if you would like to purchase seats for specific areas of the venue you can expect to pay more than that. Tickets for VIP areas are $3/ticket and General Admission is $2/ticket. Group rates are also available!

What is Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival, starting on September 22nd. It began in 1810 when Crown Prince Ludwig (later to be King Ludwig) married Princess Therese von Preussen (later to be Empress Therese von Österreich). The festival was originally celebrated with horse races in celebration of the marriage. After her husband died in 1868, she wanted to commemorate his spirit and rebuilt the festival; Oktoberfest changed into what it is today. This comes with the history of Oktoberfest

  1. General Admission, Active & Chaplain Types 
  2. Special Types – At Trade, Trade Active & Trade Chaplain

Dates and Ticket Price

Oktoberfest Kitchener runs from September 21 to October 7, and the admission prices vary by date and the number of days: General: $20 ($10 per day)Kids: $6 ($3 per day)Single Day Pass: $15 ($7.50 per day)Weekend Pass: $27 ($13.50 per day) As of writing this article, the Eventbrite page states that the festival’s dates are September 14-16. There are 2 options for buying tickets. You can buy them at the entrance OR you can buy them online in advance for a slightly higher price. The prices are $15 for general admission, $30 for premium admission, and $60 for VIP admission. Furthermore, there is no additional vendor fee if tickets are purchased on the day of the event at the gate.
